Today we filmed video 1 and 2 (showering and washing clothes).
First I filmed Hannah showering for the S2 scenes from our Shower Film shot list. Then Hannah filmed me showering for the S1 scenes. We had to make sure that we didn't get any of the togs/clothes we were wearing in the shots so that it looked like we were truly showering. This was made a bit easier by the fact that we were mainly filming close ups and extreme close ups. We also had to mostly shower in cold water (apart from the scenes that we needed to be steamy) so that the camera lens wouldn't keep fogging up.
After a food break, we filmed the washing machine shots. One issue we had was that it was really dark inside the washing machine for the close up shots of textures we wanted to do, but we solved this by upping the ISO on the DSLR camera we were using.
